Catherine Adela, MA
Catherine (she/her) grew up in the coastal rainforest on Stó꞉lō land, where her love of animals and wild places first took root. She went on to spend over a decade as a wildlife rehabilitator, gaining a deep understanding of local species and the relationships that connect us to place.
Her journey in nature connection led her to mentoring children and adults through programs like Thriving Roots, Wild & Alive, and Wilderness Awareness School. She holds an MA in Environmental Education and Communication from Royal Roads University and continues training with the Animas Valley Institute.
An artist and naturalist at heart, Catherine weaves together tracking, bird language, wild foods, and creative expression. She lives surrounded by animals and enjoys painting, ocean swimming, and following trails through the forest.
