Fireweed Vision
Our Vision
Through transformative learning, Fireweed supports a transition toward relational, regenerative ways of being together with our human and Earth kin, contributing to just and life-giving futures.
Our Mission
The mission of the Fireweed Foundation is to support transformative learning opportunities for communities—grounded in research-informed climate, sustainability, and relationality education—with the aim of engaging communities in regenerative social, ecological, and economic practices.
Our Program Goal
Our programs aim to facilitate a transformation in public understanding toward seeing ourselves as relational beings and encouraging practices for a sustainable and regenerative society, including net-zero, climate-friendly living. We gather people together to explore our relations to the intelligibility and wholeness of the world around us in an interactive way. We aim to take a hopeful and evidence-based approach that is enjoyable and responsive to community history and character. The Fireweed Foundation endeavours to become a learning commons which is an organic way of organizing and engaging in learning in a community.
Fireweed Learning Commons is a registered nonprofit society with the BC Societies Registry.
